How do you score points?
Each week we award each of the formats highest points scorers with points, !0 points for highest, 9 for second highest, 8 for third highest, 7 for fourth, 6 for fifth, 5 for sixth, 4 for seventh, 3 for eighth, 2 for ninth and 1 point for tenth, so there is 155 points available per week across all three formats.
***It was an UNFKNBLVBL week for Justan who scored a massive 2608 points in SC this week and got the 10 Nobel Koel points on offer in the process, Kiss my Ace 2 took away 9 whilst Back to Back Hayden chipped in for the 8. The big story was Roger from the Dodgey Mob getting a very nice 7 that launches him into second spot just four points shy of the leading Richie Benauds. U got no fans FC moved to 22 points with his 5 and Samar who was #31st in the Koel last year moves up into #36 this year with a handy 2 points. Raj from Goodbetterbest SCT continues to lead the Super Coach Competition overall and is making a great fist of going all the way. ***
***If you nailed a 2661 this week you’d have something to crow about as did Matthew as he took the 10 points in RDT this week and takes his points to 20 for the year. The Topups got the 9 to go to 16 whilst Matthew of Living the Dream got 8 to take him to 17 points overall. John of Very Skilful is another this week who moved to the popular 17 and you can never underate old Frosty who loves to just chip away with with the minor points on offer each week. A sneaky one point debut from new coach Paddy of Kochies Cash Cows shows that it’s never too late to join in the Nobel Koel quest. Robs Squad is overall #2 in RDT whilst old mate Justan from UNFKNBLVBL is #7, great work guys.***
***A 2617 point round got Mossy the 10 points and launched him onto a very respectable 22 points for the year. T1Ts McGee was solid with 9 and Flat track Cam nudged out Rhonda’ Luvs ROK”s Bum for the 8. Levi from The Mega MFA’s decided to get a 6 after coming off 2 lots of 10 in recent weeks and has really shot up amongst the 2016 elite coaches in 7th spot atm. Overall in AFL Fantasy Simon from No Buddy Way moves up into #4 overall with yet another solid week.***
***Only five weeks to go now and as you can see the Overall Leaderboard is starting to tighten up, The Richie Benauds went out early and almost looked unbeatable mid year but if dare to be crowned the Coaches Panel Coach of the year you need to pace yourself and look to where the next Nobel Koel point is going to come from. Team Dodgey Mob’s Roger took some nice points early in RDT and is now loading up on SC points which is partly the reason for his climb into 2nd spot this week, so being apart of and generating the points across the three formats is the real key in this competition. Got the feeling there’s still plenty to play out here in the coming weeks, so get involved, get some points and hopefully your teams can get you across the line and ultimately lift the Nobel Koel Trophy in 2016, cheers Fox.***
